Terms and Conditions: Impact English 15 Free English Lessons Competition

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering the “Win 15 Free English Lessons” competition (“the Competition”). By participating, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

    • The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

    • Employees of Impact English, their immediate families, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation of the Competition are not eligible to enter.

    • Entry is limited to one per person. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.

2. Competition Period

    • The Competition will open on Friday, 16th January 2026 at 09:00 AM GMT and close on Friday, 30th October 2026 at 21:00 PM GMT.

    • Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

    • Participants must submit their entry statement (between 150 and maximum 1,000 words) explaining “if you spoke perfect English tomorrow, how would your life change?”

    • The email subject line should clearly state: “Impact English Competition Entry – [Your Full Name]”.

    • The body of the email must include the participant’s full name and email address, in addition to their entry statement.

    • Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

4. The Prize

    • The prize consists of 15 free 60-minute online English lessons with an Impact English tutor.

    •  Winners must adhere to Impact English’s standard cancellation policy. Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without 24-hour notice may result in the forfeiture of that lesson.

    • The lessons are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

    • The lessons must be redeemed and completed within 12 months from the date the prize is awarded. Unused lessons after this period will be forfeited.

    • Lessons are subject to tutor availability and must be scheduled in advance and by prior agreement with management at Impact English.

    • Internet access and a suitable device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a webcam and microphone are required for online lessons. These are the responsibility of the winner.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

    • One (1) winner will be selected based on the originality, creativity, and compelling nature of their entry, as judged by a panel from Impact English. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    • The winner will be notified via the email address provided on their entry form within 7 days of the Competition closing date.

    • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Impact English reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.

6. Publicity

    • By entering the Competition, the winner agrees to their name and entry statement being used for promotional purposes by Impact English on its website, social media channels, and other marketing materials, without further compensation.

7. Data Protection

    • Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. General Conditions

    • Impact English reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Impact English.

    • Impact English is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

    • Impact English shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

    • Impact English also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

    • The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
